Graduate Destinations

UCLIC, and before it the UCL Ergonomics Unit, have been training HCI and human factors professionals and academics for over thirty years.

There are around 40 course graduates each year, split 50/50 men and women. Graduate destinations for our course, averaged over recent years, are as follows:

Employed as HCI specialist 55%
Employed in other graduate level roles 19%
Information not available 14%
PhD study 10%
Personal commitments 1%

The performance is testament to both the effectiveness of the programme and the calibre of students who participate. Graduates are employed by consultancies, government agencies, commercial organisations and commercial research laboratories – students on the MSc course complete a project as part of the course, and many projects are hosted by commercial oganisations, a proportion of which subsequently employ the students.

If you have a specific question about graduate destinations, or about the course in general, please email us.
